Join our legal fight for people and planet

To celebrate Earth Day 2024: Planet vs Plastics, please support ClientEarth and our work in using the power of the law to push for the end of the plastics crisis.

Plastics are wreaking havoc on our lives and our planet. Over 170 trillion pieces of plastic float in our ocean. And greenhouse gas emissions from plastic threaten our ability to meet vital climate targets.

Uniquely positioned as a charitable legal organisation, ClientEarth is an established and effective watchdog for the planet, strategically using law and litigation to tackle the most pressing threats to people and nature.

That’s why, using the power of the law to tackle the plastics crisis is a crucial part of our mission. With the support of our donors, we have launched cases against the world’s largest plastic producers, including:

  • Blocking and delaying INEOS’s €3bn mega plastic project in Belgium

  • Launching action against Coca Cola and Nestle over misleading recycling claims

  • Taking Danone to court over its global plastic footprint

And you can support our work too. For Earth Day, we’re matching all gifts, meaning your gift will have twice the impact to tackle the plastics crisis and protect all life on Earth.

Let’s create a future where materials are safe for people and planet by default.
